*Please note that I am not currently taking on any doula clients - I will be able to in the future, but for now I am solely providing my infant feeding services. I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause - please feel free to read more about my doula practice and to send me any enquiries. Hopefully we will be able to work together in the future. O xx

Doula Services

Pregnancy ~ Birth ~ Postnatal

What is a Doula? And why might you seek Doula support?

Though each practice is unique, in the most simple of terms, a Doula is a non-medical birth worker who provides expert care to families throughout the perinatal experience. This can be through the provision of emotional, physical, educational, and advocacy support.

Families seek Doulas for all kinds of reasons. It is normal and natural for you to want be thoroughly supported throughout this incredible time, and Doulas can be a great asset to your care team.

Perhaps you have had a previously traumatic birth experience, or maybe you are feeling overwhelmed by navigating the maternity system and want someone to act as your advocate. It could be emotional support you are seeking, or you may just want another set of experienced hands available for when your baby arrives! Whatever has brought you here, know that Doula guidance is known to promote more positive birth outcomes for parents and babies alike.

Why Choose Me?

My goal is to help you achieve the birth that you envision for yourself, as well as to provide you with loving support throughout your pregnancy, post-natal and feeding experiences. All my care is client-centric, culturally responsive, and needs based: I am not here to “empower” or “save” you, but to support and walk beside you, so you can realise the innate strength you already possess.
